Former American football star Aaron Hernandez has been found guilty of first-degree murder.

The 25-year-old ex-New England Patriots tight end has been sentenced to life in prison for the fatal shooting of semi-professional player Odin Lloyd.

Hernandez will have no possibility of parole.

The former NFL player also faces another court case over two other alleged murders.
