Former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes has been allowed to train with Manchester United as he continues his rehab from a knee injury.
The Spaniard has been a free agent since his release from Barca in the summer, and had been heavily linked with a free transfer to Liverpool, having been tipped for a move to Monaco prior to his cruciate injury.
United manager Louis Van Gaal handed Valdes his debut while in charge of Barcelona in 2002.
