Everton defender Ramiro Funes Mori has apologised for the tackle that led to his sending off during last night's 4-0 Merseyside derby defeat at Liverpool.
He was red carded after a bad challenge on Divock Origi in the second half.
The Argentine says he never intended to cause any harm, and he very much regrets what happened.

The challenge caught Liverpool forward Origi on the ankle and led to him being stretchered off, although the Anfield club later confirmed that no bone was broken.
However, Origi could still miss the rest of the season, depending on the result of scans on the injury.
