Tonight on Off The Ball, we were lucky enough to have two Everton greats of the '80s and early '90s sharing the airwaves.

Our regular Monday night voice Pat Nevin was joined by legendary goalkeeper Neville Southall

But Southall, who won the Football Writers Association Footballer of the Year in 1985, had many interesting views to share about football past and present - including his belief about why Tottenham and France No 1 Hugo Lloris is a superior goalkeeper to Manchester United's David De Gea.

"It's my opinion and I think Lloris has a better body shape. I think he saves less with his legs. De Gea's problem is his technique's not as good as Lloris because saves a lot more with his legs because he's falling backwards a lot more. Don't get me wrong, he had a terrific season last year but if I was picking someone to go in my team, I'd pick Lloris over anyone else in the world except Neuer," he said.

The former Wales international also talked Everton's season and told an anecdote about the time he hung up on Alex Ferguson which you can listen to via the Football Show podcast.
