John Evans will remain Roscommon senior football manager for at least another year.

Last night, the Management Committee of Roscommon GAA agreed to exercise an option to extend the term of the senior football team Manager by a further 12 months.

John Evans who guided Roscommon to Division 3 success will be hoping to build on this next year in Division 2.

Roscommon seem to be on a team on the up with the development of the U21s in recent seasons.

In this year's Connacht Championship, they only lost to Mayo by a single point, while Armagh were too strong in the qualifiers for the Rossies.
