The prospective host cities for the Euros 2020 will reportedly have until the end of the week to formulate their plans to be able to host fans for the tournament.

UEFA's executive committee are expected to assemble in Montreux on today to learn of the finalised plans for the delayed tournament starting on June 11th.

However, reports from New York Times' Tariq Panja suggest that this deadline will be extended to Friday, where all of the plans will be heard.

Dublin is one of the remaining host cities for the tournament that have yet to formulate a plan to be able to host fans for the tournament, with reports from the Irish Times on Sunday suggesting that UEFA were due to cut Ireland from hosting the tournament on Monday.

Last week, the Football Association of Ireland released a statement suggesting that it was not in a position to provide minimum assurances concerning attendances at Dublin's Aviva Stadium for the tournament.

The other cities yet to have a plan in place for fans to return are Munich and Bilbao, as Germany and Spain remain under similar restrictions to the Republic of Ireland.

On Wednesday last week, the latest city to be confirmed for their host matches, Rome, confirmed that the Stadio Olimpico would be at a minimum 25 per cent capacity for the four matches it will host - three group games and a quarter-final.

In a statement on Wednesday last week, UEFA said they had received "confirmation from the Italian government that the UEFA EURO 2020 matches scheduled for the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, will take place with spectators."

"The authorities have guaranteed at least 25 per cent of the stadium's capacity will be filled. As a result, UEFA considers Rome to be fully confirmed as a venue for the tournament.

"Fans with tickets for matches in Rome should note that there will be no exemptions granted to any travel restrictions that will be in place at the time, for people arriving from outside Italy."
