Man City stole the show in the day’s 3 o’clock kick offs, with a 7-0 win over Norwich at the Etihad stadium.

City demolished Chirs Hughton’s Norwich with goals from Silva, Aguero, Nastasic, NJegredo, Toure, Aguero, Dzeko and an own goal from Bradley Johnson.

The other half of Manchester also showed clinical dominance in their game, easing past Fulham by a score of 3-1, with all 3 goals coming in the first 20 minutes. Rooney, Van Persie and Valencia were the scorers for United at Craven Cottage, while Kacaniklic got the consolation goal for Fulham.

Stoke and Southampton drew 1-1, but the scoreline hides the reality that the day’s most remarkable single moment came at the Brittania stadium. Stoke keeper Asmir Begovic scored a goal after just 12 seconds of the game, as he hit a long clearance and watched as it bounced over the head of Artur Boruc in the Southampton goal. The Saints blushes were spared as Jay Rodriguez equalised.

Hull City won 1-0 against Sunderland but the game was marred by ill discipline, as Lee Cattermole and Andrea Dossena were both sent off in the first half. Carlos Cuellar scored the only goal of the game, for Hull.

West Brom beat Crystal Palace 2-0, with Berahino and McAuley the scoers fro the Baggies.

The game between Aston Villa and West Ham finished scoreless.
