Dublin's chances of advancing to their second consecutive All-Ireland final appearance have been strengthened, with news that Eoghan O'Gara is clear to play following an appeal.

The forward was sent off shortly after being introduced in the latter stages of their All-Ireland Quarter-Final win over Donegal, for an alleged strike on Neil McGee.

The incident ruled him out of the game against Kerry next weekend but the Templeogue Synge Street clubman is now eligible for selection, following a review conducted by the Central Hearings Committee.

The initial charge - 'striking with the hand,' has been downgraded to a 'rough play' offence which is punishable with a yellow card.
