Brazil and Croatia will kick off the 2014 World Cup on June 12th.
The hosts were drawn against Mexico and Cameroon in Group A.
But England were handed a difficult group. They are up against four-time champions Italy who knocked them out of Euro 2012, while they are also up against 2010 semi-finalists Uruguay and Costa Rica.
Group B sees a repeat of 2010's bad tempered World Cup final as holders Spain take on the Netherlands. Chile, who recently beat England 2 - 0 and Australia complete that group.
Cristiano Ronaldo's reward for getting through the playoffs is a group containing Germany, Ghana and USA. The draw was poignant for USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann as he was pitted against his home country with whom he won a World Cup in 1990 as a player and managed on home soil in 2006.
Here are the groups in full:
Group A: Brazil, Mexico, Croatia and Cameroon.
Group B: Spain, Chile, Australia and Netherlands.
Group C: Colombia, Greece, Ivory Coast and Japan.
Group D: Uruguay, England, Costa Rica and Italy.
Group E: Switzerland, Ecuador, France and Honduras.
Group F: Argentina, Bosnia, Iran and Nigeria.
Group G: Germany, Ghana, Portugal and USA.
Group H: Belgium, Algeria, Russia and South Korea.
