The IRFU have confirmed they will send an Emerging Ireland squad to Romania for the Nations Cup this summer.
Connacht's Dan McFarland has been appointed as Head Coach and he will be assisted by Ulster's Neil Doak. McFarland is currently assistant coach at Connacht and has previously coached the Ireland U20s, while Doak is backs coach at Ulster and has previous experience as a part of the Irish wolfhounds coaching team.
They open their campaign against Russia on the 13th of June before facing Uruguay on the 18th and Romania on the 22nd.
Six Nations winners Dave Kearney, Jack Mc Grath and Jordi Murphy all featured in the squad that played in a similar competition in Tblisi last year.
