Eamonn Fitzmaurice looks set to remain in charge of the Kerry footballers.

The Finuge clubman is at the end of a one-year extension, having served his initial three-year term.

But Fitzmaurice is expected to be handed a further two year extension at tonight's county board meeting.

Fitzmaurice, who led the Kingdom to 2014 All Ireland title, has only lost three Championship games during his time in charge - all to Dublin.

This year's meeting saw them only narrowly beaten in the semi-finals, almost a year on from a loss in last year's All-Ireland final.
