Yesterday, it was revealed that UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor will be the next cover star of Sports Illustrated magazine.
Unfortunately, the Dubliner made an error when he tweeted that he was the first Irishman to grace the cover of the iconic magazine:

Senator and former world champion runner Eamonn Coghlan pointed out the error as he tweeted McGregor to remind that he had been on the cover three times during his own career:

The UFC have confirmed that Nate Diaz will replace the injured Rafael Dos Anjos for Conor McGregor's March 5th fight.
