Bray Wanderers needed extra-time before finally getting the better of Leinster Senior League side Bluebell United in tonight's EA Sports Cup action.
It finished 2-all after 90 minutes at the Carlisle Grounds, but Bray scored twice in extra-time to register a 4-2 win that sets-up a meeting with defending champions St Pat's in the next round.
Elsewhere, Limerick beat Wexford Youths 4-0 after two goals apiece from Aaron Greene and John O'Flynn.
Derry City were 2-0 winners over Sligo Rovers at the Brandywell after two goals from Nathan Boyle for the Candystripes.
And goals from Sean Heaney, Sean Boyd and Trevor Clarke earned Shamrock Rovers a 3-0 victory over Athlone Town at the Tallaght Stadium.
