The David Pipe-trained Dynaste won today's Ryanair Chase in convincing fashion.

Under the guidance of jockey Tom Scudamore, the 3/1 favourite moved to the front of the field over the last and pulled clear to win by over two lengths.

Earlier, the opening race of the day was won the AP McCoy ridden Taquin Du Seuil at odds of 7/1 for trainer Jonjo O'Neill.

And there was an exciting finish to the Pertemps Hurdle with 9/2 favourite Fingal Bay winning by a nose from Paul Nicholls' runner Southfield Theatre in a photo finish.

The World Hurdle is the big race on the penultimate day of this year's Cheltenham Festival and goes to post shortly.

Irish hopes will rest on Annie Power for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh and on Rule The World for Mouse Morris and Brian O'Connell.
