Dundalk travel to Bray for the opening weekend in the 2016 League of Ireland

League of Ireland champions Dundalk face a trip south to Bray on the opening weekend of the 2016 SSE Airtricity League Premier Division. The game takes place on Saturday, March 5th.

The Louth side won last season's league by 11 points and are looking to win the League for the third year in a row.

Week One is separated into four games on Friday night and two on Saturday, with First Division Champions Wexford Youths welcoming Longford Town to Ferrycarrig Park on Friday, March 4th.

There will be a Northwest derby in Finn Park on the opening night as Finn Harps entertain Derry City in Ballybofey. Bohemians travel south to Turner's Cross to face Cork City, while St Patrick's Athletic start their season at home to Galway United.

On the Saturday night, there will be a battle of the Rovers in The Showgrounds as Sligo Rovers host Shamrock Rovers.
