Dundalk have gone six points clear at the top of the SSE Airtricity Premier Division.

Brian Gartland and Daryl Horgan each struck twice in an 8-1 demolition of Bray Wanderers at Oriel Park.

In-form Richie Towell opened the scoring on two minutes, before Gartland (2) and Andrew Boyle netted prior to the break.

David Cassidy also scored Bray's only goal in the first half, before the reigning champions ran riot in the second period, as Dane Massey and Ronan Finn added to two Horgan finishes.
