Dundalk came from a goal down to reach the FAI Cup final with a 2-1 win over Derry City in their semi-final replay.

Having drawn 2-2 in Sunday's original fixture, Dundalk had a nightmare start as the Candystripes took a lead within three minutes.

Ronan Curtis, who had scored Derry's late equaliser in the first semi-final encounter, netted again to put Kenny Shiels' side 1-0 up.

But Dundalk fought back thanks to Ciaran Kilduff who levelled on 38 minutes.

And they found the eventual winner with 22 minutes to go thanks to Ronan Finn.

Stephen Kenny's side will now take on Cork City in a repeat of the 2015 final.

Meanwhile, in the Premier Division, it finished scoreless between Sligo Rovers and Finn Harps in their rescheduled clash at The Showgrounds.
