The Dublin hurlers have won their first Leinster senior title since 1961 with a resounding 12 point win over Galway.

Anthony Daly’s side were 2-15 to 2-12 winners over the Tribesmen, with a Galway revival in the middle part of the second half the only period when the Dubs were not in total control of proceedings.

Dublin’s Paul Ryan put in an excellent display of attacking hurling, scoring two goals.
