Dublin's Diarmuid Connolly has been cleared to play in the semi-final replay against Mayo.

The Dublin forward had been in line to miss this evening's match through suspension.

The team announced the news via Twitter:

The St Vincent's star was sent off late in last Sunday's All Ireland semi final after an off the ball altercation with Mayo's Lee Keegan.

It had been reported that the Central Appeals Committee had thrown out the case.

However the Dublin County Board brought the case to the Disputes Resolution Authority in their successful attempt to get the ban overturned.

The match takes place at 5pm in Croke Park this evening.
