A volunteer coach from a Dublin youth football club, has written a letter about their experience with abuse from parents of the players.

In the letter, the volunteer outlines how they engage with underage coaching freely, and without the promise of payment. They also explain the struggles that coaches face and asks parents to be more understanding when they attend games.

The St John Bosco Football Club relayed the photo onto social media.
