Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has retired from international football with the Ivory Coast.
The 36-year-old won 104 caps for the Ivory Coast and scored 65 goals.
Drogba captained his national team for eight years and played at three World Cups.
However, the veteran centre forward suffered plenty of heartache at international level, with the Ivory Coast golden generation losing African Nations Cup finals in 2006 and 2012, while the Elephants also failed to progress past the group stages of the World Cup.
At the most recent tournament in Brazil, a last minute penalty from Greece knocked Drogba and co out of the World Cup at the group stage.
