Clare might still retain their All-Ireland title, but that possibility was only narrowly retained today as they battled out an epic encounter against Wexford at Cuscak Park. The game ended in a draw, after extra-time, with Clare coming back from 9 points down at one stage in the first half.

Conor McDonald and Liam Og McGovern had netted for Wexford in the first half, while Clare also had Podge Collins sent off just before half time.

Clare fought back late on to level matters and take the tie to extra time with the scores tied at 1-21 to 2-18.
