Promotional photographs for the fifth season of period drama Downton Abbey were released earlier today.

While the photos are stunning and elegant recreations of Victorian and period grandeur, except for one slight issue.

In a photograph of two of the Downton Abbey characters, Robert and Edith Crawley, it appears someone left their plastic water bottle resting on the mantelpiece behind them.

The photograph was posted on the official Downton Abbey Facebook page and has since been on the receiving end of some pretty hilarious comments from the fans. The photo has since been taken down.
