QPR have ended striker Djibril Cisse's stay at left Loftus Road by mutual consent.

The former Liverpool forward, who was signed in 2012, had a year left on his contract but both parties have agreed to terminate it.

The French striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Qatari club Al Gharafa. He has been linked with a return to France.
