Frozen might have just been released on DVD and been declared the most financially successful animated film of all time, but it's not all good news for Disney. Animator Kelly Wilson is taking the company to court over the smash hit film - or, more specifically, the film's trailer.

The teaser features Olaf the Snowman attempting to stop his carrot nose being eaten by moose Sven. In Wilson and co-director Neil Wrischnik's short The Snowman, a snowman attempts to save his nose from being eaten by a group of rabbits. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Wilson argues that the short and the trailer are strikingly similar in terms of themes, story, characters, tone, pace, dialogue and more, with the trailer therefore infringing copyright.

Disney has said "the claim is utterly without merit and we will defend against it vigorously."
