This weekend, Maradona traveled to Tunisia, where he once again crossed paths with referee Ali Bennaceur, the man who managed not to spot that the Argentine had used his hand to score against Peter Shilton that day.

In what he described as an emotional reunion, Maradona gave him a signed Argentina jersey with a dedication that reads "For Ali, my eternal friend", while the referee gave him a framed picture from the game that had been hanging in his house for many years.
