Former Down All Ireland winner Conor Deegan and ex-Meath star Anthony Moyles were at the launch of Newstalk's GAA Championship coverage yesterday.

And with Ulster starting off with a bang, Breakfast's Oisin Langan quizzed the duo on how that match will go and what we can expect from the rest of the championship.

"I believe it will be a very tough game physically. It won't be for the faint hearted," said Deegan of the Donegal v Tyrone game this Sunday. "I genuinely believe Tyrone might have a wee edge at the moment."

Moyles did not downplay the crucial nature of the rivalry and the tie in the context of the Ulster and All Ireland Championships.

"This is the Ulster Championship to a certain degree in Tyrone's eyes. If they win this, it gives them a massive fillip," he said.

"Did Donegal take the league campaign seriously? But I'd say the last six to eight weeks has been flat to the mat for them. It's going to be an absolute cracker."
