Henry de Bromhead says he’ll speak with Gordon Elliott about the horses assigned to him by Cheveley Park Stud.

They became the first major owners to withdraw horses from Elliott’s yard in the wake of his photo scandal.

Elliott will face an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB) Referrals Committee on Friday regarding the photo of him sitting on a dead horse.

Cheveley Park split eight horses between De Bromhead and Willie Mullins, with Envoi Allen among those going to the former.

Envoi Allen is unbeaten in his eleven outings to date, and that includes Cheltenham wins in the Champion Bumper and the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle.

He's the odds-on favourite in the ante-post betting for the Marsh Novices' Chase at this month's festival.

De Bromhead will also be overseeing the preparations of Supreme Novices’ Hurdle contender Ballyadam and Triumph Hurdle prospect Quilixios.

"They are obviously very exciting horses to be getting and we appreciate Cheveley Park sending them to us," he told Racing TV.

“We’ll let them settle in and see how they are. They will have done most of their serious work up to now and I’d say it’s a case of ticking over with them now, being so close to Cheltenham.

“I haven’t spoken to Gordon as yet about the horses, but he said he’d tell me whatever I need to know. I’ll ring him soon.”
