Paris St-Germain and Chelsea appear to be involved in the first major transfer of the summer.

The two clubs are reported to be in advanced talks over the sale of defender David Luiz to the French champions for a €50 million fee.

The 27-year-old Brazilian international could complete the move before the start of the World Cup in his homeland as PSG attempt to act quickly in order to avoid rival interest from Barcelona.

The massive transfer fee could pave the way for Chelsea to step up their interest in Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.
