Newcastle United's Daryl Murphy has been ruled out of Ireland's match against Wales this week.
The forward has returned to his club for treatment on a calf injury.

Manager Martin O'Neill has had to deal with a mini injury crisis this week and is alreay without Wes Hoolahan, Harry Arter, Ciaran Clark and Shane Duffy while James McCarthy's hamstring is being monitored.

The Republic of Ireland surrently top Group D on 10 points, four ahead of their next opponents Wales. Serbia are in second place on eigth points.
