Dana White says Ronda Rousey more than deserves a rematch following her defeat at the hands of Holly Holm in November.

The first woman to have ever signed with the UFC and its first female champion was dethroned with a kick to head that knocked her out in the second round of their bout at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia. White believes his promoter's license should be taken away if he does not schedule that fight, "“I think that if we didn't make the rematch, me and Lorenzo Fertitta should probably lose our promoters’ license,” White said. “Yeah, that fight’s going to happen. I don’t know when, but that’s the fight that will happen."

Rousey is currently on a six-month medical suspension from UFC as she recovers from the fight but ESPN predicted July 6th at UFC 200 as a potential date when the rematch everyone is looking for happens.

“Ronda Rousey has gone undefeated, taken the sport to another level and was beating the best women in the world in 14 seconds or 30 seconds, so she deserves a rematch,” he said. “Holly agrees she deserves a rematch, and we’ll figure it out.”
