Leinster's Marty Moore will not feature in the Six Nations after it was confirmed that he suffered a hamstring tear in the heavy defeat to Wasps

Moore exited the field with the assistance of the medical team just after the hour mark, and according to The42.ie, suffered a Grade 2 tear of his hamstring, meaning he will be out for six to eight weeks.

There was slightly more positive news on Jonathan Sexton, who was also taken off in the course of the game as a result of a head injury.

Leo Cullen stated that he left the field because the medical team at Leinster were being cautious with the player as a result of his previous concussions.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Cullen said "he clashed heads with Brendan Macken early on and went off, did his HIA assessment, passed his questionnaire fine. He was ready to come back out but the docs just erred on the side of caution".
