Galway hurling committee Chairman Joe Byrne has expressed his disappointment that Leinster delegates rejected their application to enter the provincial Championship at minor and under 21 level. It means while their seniors will continue to play in Leinster but their underage teams remain without competition until the All Ireland series. The Tribesmen's senior side have been playing in the province since 2009 and the county had hoped to move it's underage sides in as well.
