The Ice Bucket Challenge in aid of ALS, has seen countless viral videos appear online in which people throw buckets of ice water over themselves to raise money for the neurodegenerative disease.

Football superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo has honoured his nomination by his old Manchester United teammate Darren Fletcher and recorded a video for the challenge. 

The Portuguese player then nominated Beyonce, Lil Wayne and Jennifer Lopez to take part in the challenge although we won't hold our breath to see their videos show up online...
