Another game. Another record.

Scoring 30 goals or more in one league season is no mean feat. Scoring 30 goals or more for six consecutive league season is down right outrageous.

However, outrageous is a word we often associate with Cristiano Ronaldo, whether that connotation is used in a  positive or negative light remains another matter.

Capable of the utterly sublime or the down right ridiculous, Ronaldo is often touted as the second greatest player of his generation, with a giant shadow usually being cast over him by the diminutive 5 time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi.

Already Real Madrid's record goal scorer, CR7 set yet another unique record today as he scored the third goal in Los Blancos routine 4-0 crushing of Eibar.

That goal was his 30th of the season, making it the sixth season in a row where he has reached the milestone, the only player to have ever achieved the feat across Europe's Top 5 Leagues.

Not even Messi has done that.
