Daniel Sturridge has travelled to Spain with the Liverpool squad ahead of tomorrow's Champions League group stage match against Real Madrid.

The England striker has been out of action since the end of August with injury, missing key Premier League and Champions League matches for the out-of-form Reds.

The fact that Sturridge has made the trip to Madrid does not mean he will see any game-time.

But it does open up the slight possibility that he could feature at some point.

Liverpool are in need of a win after losing two of their first three group stage matches.
