Leading Dublin schoolboy club St Kevin's Boys are looking into the possibility of applying for a League of Ireland title.

That's according to Irish Independent football writer and Off The Ball contributor Daniel McDonnell, who says that the North Dublin club have written to the FAI to explore the entry criteria for a senior team.

Dan reports that the club were "deeply frustrated" to be left out of the new U17 National League despite having a fine record at producing players with current Ireland internationals Robbie Brady and Jeff Hendrick among their more recent graduates and Damien Duff in the more distant past.
