Cork selector Kieran Kingston says they will appeal Patrick Horgan's red card in Sunday's Munster final against Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds.
The Shannonsiders won the game 0-24 to 0-15 having played against 14 men for the entirety of the second half after referee James Mc Grath sent Horgan off.
As it stands Horgan will miss the quarter final against Kilkenny on Sunday week but the Rebels will hope his appeal will be successful.
