Cork are Munster hurling champions for the first time since 2006. The Rebels had a 6 point margin over Limerick at Pairc Ui Caoimh today, winning by 2-24 to 0-24.

The Shannonsiders couldn’t repeat their Munster title winning heroics of last summer and goals from Seamus Harnedy and Paudie O’Sullivan proved to be the difference.

They have dethroned Limerick, beating the Shannonsiders by 2-24 to 24 points in the Munster hurling final at Pairc Ui Chaoimh this afternoon.
