The anticipation has been building for some time and with two days to go to publication, the contents of Alex Ferguson's new autobiography will be made public today.

This afternoon, the former Manchester United manager will be talking about the book, which officially hits the shelves on Thursday.

So far, there have been no official leaks and no serialisation of the autobiography ahead of the book launch which also includes a press conference.

The autobiography is expected to touch on the infamous "flying boot" incident with David Beckham in 2003 and his disagreements with Roy Keane, Jaap Stam and Wayne Rooney.

With Man United hoping to offer the latter a new contract, any revelations could be a setback for the club in their attempts to keep Rooney.

Ferguson's relationship with other managers such as Arsene Wenger, Rafa Benitez, Jose Mourinho and Roberto Mancini are also likely to be under the microscope.

Ferguson is in Dublin on November 8th as part of the promotional tour for the book.
