Conor McGregor and his girlfriend Dee Devlin are preparing for a legal battle with the Sunday World after pictures of their home were published in the paper. 

The UFC star is claiming a breach of privacy, and according to The Irish Times, proceedings were lodged last week. 

The piece in the Sunday World featured images of the UFC star's house in Kildare as well as the cars he owns parked outside it.

The Irish Times adds that there are strong grounds for people "who wish to argue in an Irish court that they have a right to protect their privacy", in particular in relation to cases where the person's home is involved.

It is not clear yet whether they are looking for the images to be removed from the paper's website, or if they are also seeking damages as a result.
