Over the last few weeks, Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have been trying to build-up the hype to a potential fight between the pair.

Boxer Mayweather tweeted a poster of a fight promo involving himself and his MMA counterpart, although there is little evidence that a bout will take place, with Nate Diaz branding it a "big publicity stunt".

Either way, Mayweather tried to add fuel to the fire:

McGregor did respond though with a tweet simply reading "1-0", implying that his professional boxing record would read one win and zero loss after a fight with Mayweather:
