Connacht might be bottom of the RaboDirect Pro 12, but that was put out of mind yesterday after the province picked up an incredible win at Toulouse.

To talk about one of the greatest upsets in the history of the Heineken Cup, Connacht full back Gavin Duffy was on the line to chat to Joe.

Because of the nature of the Heineken Cup's double-headers, Duffy and the team have no time to revel in the victory with the return match taking place this Saturday.

"We've produced once-off performances before and we want to push on from that," said Duffy who admitted that it is harder for Connacht to put two momentous performances together back-to-back.

"The quality of youngsters in the squad means they have no fear and the older guys are trying to lead by example. It's a good mix. But it would be a huge disappointment on Saturday if we don't  perform better than [on Sunday] because it will require more to defeat Toulouse again."

Yet just a week earlier, Connacht were hammered 43 - 10 by Edinburgh in the Pro 12. Praising new head coach Pat Lam, Duffy explained how Connacht learned from that defeat.

"We were embarrassed by that scoreline. There were harsh words said in the dressing room and we took that on board and put that into the fire for the Toulouse game. Pat [Lam] has really challenged us. He comes in on a Monday and he shows us the opportunities that we're creating but just not doing...perhaps we're not doing what we're told the whole time which is the players' fault. At times our skill level has let us down. But Pat keeps challenging us and no doubt tomorrow there'll be a meeting where he'll tell us how we could have scored more tries."
