Aly Muldowney will join Top14 side Grenoble next season, the club have confirmed today.
The 32-year-old lock was on a list of players who would be released come the end of the season, but has played a vital role in Connacht's wonderful Pro12 campaign.
"I am happy to have signed for Grenoble. My family and I look forward to arriving," he said.
"This is a beautiful city and a fantastic rugby club! I spoke with Bernard Jackman several times and he has a great vision for the club, which is very exciting and I'm looking forward to, hopefully, playing a role.
"It's also a great opportunity for me to play the Top 14, that one of the best and most challenging competitions in the world."
