Davy Fitzgerald and his Clare side have been given a boost ahead of their qualifier with Offaly. According to the Clare People, Colm Galvin is to return to the squad after a spell in America.

The 22 year old travelled to Boston two months ago after featuring for Clare in the league. He was part of the side that won the All Ireland in 2013. He was also part of the Clare team that have won the last three Under 21 All Ireland titles. 

His return is expected to the Clare squad is expected to be confirmed later today.
