Mayo's Colm Boyle, Kerry's Paul Geaney and Tipperary's Padraic Maher were the guests on Off the Ball's Saturday Panel as they reflected on the 2017 GAA All-Stars.

Dublin and Mayo dominated the football selection with 13 players picked between them and asked if he was over the disappointment of the final defeat against Dublin, Boyle told Richie McCormack: "Ah yeah, I suppose, time moves on. You get over it and you start looking on to next year. 

"It's never easy obviously - it's not our first one losing so it probably makes it that bit harder. Again, you just move on with it. You think about it every now and again but honestly, you wouldn't be thinking about it every day and stuff like that. It would come into your mind every now and again"

"People you might in the street or meet at work or wherever - people do be talking about it for the first couple of weeks every day but eventually it plays itself out. People stop talking about it and move on to next year but everyone is in the same boat - the supporters, the whole lot with the disappointment.

"You get back with the club and you're back on the field so you've different things to focus on and different priorities and stuff and different things in life in general that you need to be looking at in general that you need to be looking at because, as I'm sure the boys will tell you, you're kind of in a bubble throughout the season. 

"You know, you're just concentrating on football and everything is nearly based around that and how, I suppose, you can get the best out of yourself. When it all comes to a crashing finish - you're, kind of, getting back to reality after that," he added.
