Ballymun Kickhams and St.Vincent’s played out a thrilling Dublin Senior Football final at Parnell Park this afternoon, with the sides inseparable following extra time at 0-20 to 1-17.
Ballymun led St.Vincent’s for much of the game but a late surge from the Marino club brought the game to extra time.
The tie swung back and forth in extra-time and Vincent’s were ahead by two at the break. Ballymun fought back and led by a point as the final whistle in extra-time approached. Vincent’s and Diarmuid Connolly were to have the last say, however. The All-Ireland winner struck a free kick over with the final kick of the 80 minutes of action to bring the game to a replay.
The replay will be on Wednesday at 7.45 in Parnell Park.
In Tipperary Loughmore-Catleiney were 3-10 to 0-9 winners over Aherlow Gaels in the Senior Football Championship final.
