The Clare County Board has confirmed that Davy Fitzgerald will be kept on as senior hurling manager until the end of the 2017 season.
Since winning the 2013 All-Ireland, Clare won just one of their six championship matches and exited this year at the qualifier stage at the weekend after losing to Cork.
But last night County Board chairman Michael McDonagh confirmed that Fitzgerald's position will not be reviewed.
