Man City needed a second half burst to avoid a major upset in this afternoon’s FA Cup Fourth Round ties.

The Premier League side were 2-0 down against Championship side Watford at half time, having gone behind to goals from Fernando Forestieri and Troy Deeney. City rallied in the second half however and Sergio Aguero resurrected their cup hopes with a hat-trick, added to by one from Aleksander Kolarov to make it 4-2 at the Etihad.

Liverpool were the first winners of the day, beating a determined and well organised Bournemouth side 2-0 thanks to goals from Daniel Sturridge and Victor Moses.
