Newcastle striker Papiss Cisse has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association.

The Senegalese striker was involved in a clash with Everton's Seamus Coleman during their 3-2 win over the Merseysiders in the Premier League yesterday.

He appeared to elbow the Ireland full-back during a set-piece tussle.

Cisse has until 6pm tomorrow to respond to the charge.
